DISNEY, DUBLIN AND FESTIVAL FUN

As the days get colder and the rain more frequent, I've found myself looking back through photos from the summer. I was lucky to have a very busy few months after finishing my first year of university and had the best time so I thought I'd do a recap of everything I got up to. Festivals I'd never been to a festival before and this year I went to 3! The first was The Isle of Wight Festival which was just amazing and I definitely think it's a festival for everyone to enjoy. We were able to see some amazing artists including Lewis Capaldi, Tom Grennan, The Kooks, Rudimental, Madness, Shaggy and so many more. I did end up burning myself really badly on the first day, despite frequently applying suncream but that was a small price to pay and I've already planned to go again in 2023!  I also went to Boomtown which is a different kind of experience music wise but was so good to spend time with my boyfriend - Ryan and our friends. Also, the sets were incredible, and the eff

BLOG TOUR REVIEW: RESOURCEFUL LIVING - LISA DAWSON

This is a post I've been really looking forward to and it's something a little different for my blog! Interior design and home decor interested me even when I was much younger, I used to collect paint swatches and have planned out the decoration of my future home many times! I knew Resourceful Living by Lisa Dawson would be right up my street so I was excited to read it! A big thank you to Octopus Books, Kyle Books and Anne from Random Things Tours for inviting me to be a part of the blog tour and for my copy of the book. CHRISTMAS CARDS - PAPERLESS POST REVIEW

I am working with Paperless Post, who kindly gifted me some coins to use on their website. However, all opinions are my own of course! Paperless Post is a company that allows you to customise online stationery such as greeting cards, invitations and flyers. You can then send them via email to the recipients, using your Paperless Post coins. These can be purchased, however, there are also some free cards available and you receive 25 free coins when you sign up too!  I was really impressed by the different designs they have, they are actually partnered with fashion designers like Kate Spade, Kelly Wearstler and Oscar de la Renta.  As we’re quickly approaching the festive season I thought this was the perfect thing to try out as it’s so easy to send Christmas cards! You can choose a design and then you have the option to customise the text, backdrop and envelope. They also offer photo cards so you can add your own photos to make it even more unique! Here are a couple of photo ca

INTERIOR DESIGN PLANS

My love for interior design goes back to being a young child,  I started off cutting things out of magazines and sticking them onto some A4 paper to design my room. I didn't care that my bed was the same size of the Tamagotchi, I just enjoyed creating a collage of my 'dream room'. I have always been one to be designing different rooms and house plans, whether that is on paper or using computer software. Colour schemes is also a big part of my love for interiors, you know those paint colour charts you find in hardware stores like B&Q? Well I think I must have collected most of them over the years, seriously it's an impressive collection! Back along started to do some 3D interior planning based on how I would currently design a theoretical one bedroom house/apartment etc. - using Planner 5D to do this as it was easy and quick to use. The availability of furniture isn't amazing if you don't pay but I think I managed to show a basic idea of my ideal layout.
